Well all 30 of the Shepherd SnowClub members that attended the trip on Sunday December 21st were in for a treat. When we arrived Caberfae has just finished cleaning up from the 12 inches of snow that had fallen on Friday so the slopes were covered in powder. On top of that, over the course of the day the resort received an addition 12 inches of snow, creating complete powder runs almost the entire day. SnowClub members were able to experience many things that we don’t normally; powder riding, powder up to our knees riding, and a few even got runs in on double black diamond I-75! Dave or other senior members could not remember a better day at Caberfae or in Michigan for that matter. The way this winter is going we might see a few more like that!
