Shepherd SnowClub

Hello Everyone.  Just an update about the next couple of weeks.  This next Sunday (March 8th) we will be going at our usual time 9:00am.  But next weekend is Caberfae Peaks Spring Carnival so we will be actually going on Saturday instead of Sunday that weekend.  We will be leaving at 8:00am and should be having food and other goodies.  There are lots of fun events that happen during the Spring Carnival so check it out and plan on coming!

In other news we just want to thank everyone for making this year’s Overnight Trip a success.  Temps were cold but everyone had a good time and things ran very smoothly!  Check out the picture gallery for some pics of the overnight.  Video will be coming soon.

Hey all I put video up from January 25th, on the video page.  In the process of organizing and planning how I’m going to put all the video into one sweet video at some point, for now, it’s up pretty much uncut with some music.

Also don’t forget Overnight deposit($40) is due to Dave by this Friday(the 30th).  Please communicate with him about the overnight as knowing how many people are going will greatly help us in planning.

I guess there is also some confusion on how to leave a comment on pictures.  Once you log onto the picture gallery and then you are viewing the picture that you want to comment on.  If you look to the upper part of the panel on the left of the picture, there should be a button called “Add Comment.” Just click that and follow things from there, it’s pretty easy.

Hey everyone, just a quick update on some webpage stuff.  Since we have been having a great turn out this year it is really important that we are letting Dave know that we are planning on going each Sunday.  So to help with that I created a sign-up form on our webpage.  All you need to do is go to the sign-up section and fill in your name, the date of the Sunday trip you are going on and if you are renting skis, a snowboard or not renting.  This will then send an email that Dave can get so we can plan if we need to contact Caberfae if rental numbers are high or if we need to arrange extra transportation if we have alot of people(which is awesome!).

To help kick start the sign-up we will be holding a contest with a free lift ticket as the prize.  We will draw one person from all of the people that sign-up for a Sunday trip by Friday and they will get a free lift ticket for that Sunday!

Also don’t forget to there is information for the overnight right here.  The total cost is $75 and $40 is due to Dave by January 30.  The rest is due at the Parent meeting on February 12 at 7:00PM in the Cafeteria.  Everyone should try to get SnowClub T-Shirts and Sweatshirts before the overnight too.  $10 for a T-Shirt and $25 for a really nice hooded sweatshirt.  Just contact Dave.
